Golf GameBook 24/7 Challenge starts today in Canada. Our friends in the UK have been enjoying the biggest competition ever played in their country for almost six weeks already. And now it’s Canada’s turn. Canadian golfers are welcome to participate and the competition is completely free of charge. The only requirement is that you play golf and record your score with the GameBook app or online on our website. The concept is similar to the one used in our Road to the RBC Canadian Open contest earlier this summer. Pretty much the only difference is that this time we’re playing for 10 weeks!

The tournament is organized in close co-operation with Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Golf Canada and The Georgian Bay Club – all of which are contributing with some amazing prizes. The grand prize of the biggest golf contest ever organized in Canada is something many golfers around the world would be ecstatic to get to experience – the ultimate 4-ball golf buddies trip to St Andrews in Scotland. The trip is courtesy of Old Course Hotel and includes round trip flights from Canada to Scotland, five nights at the Old Course Hotel Suites, four rounds of golf played at Kingsbarns, St Andrews Old Course, St Andrews New Course and The Duke’s plus dinners at Road Hole Restaurant, The Jigger Inn and Hams Hame.

The contest is also divided into five bi-weekly periods. This means that every two weeks somebody is going to win prizes sponsored by Golf Canada. In addition there is a special competition going on during the first five weeks. The winner will be drawn out of all registered GameBook users in Canada who have entered at least one 18-hole round into GameBook either using the Golf GameBook app or GameBook website during the contest period. And the prize? An Introductory Membership to The Georgian Bay Club.

How it works?

The contest is really easy and simple to enter. All you have to do is download the free Golf GameBook app, play at least one full round (18 holes) of golf and keep your score with the app. The more you play, the better your chances are of winning!

The winners of the bi-weekly competitions won’t be chosen based on the best scores. Golf GameBook has devised a prize structure that will change from week-to-week, and award different accomplishments from playing at least two rounds in two weeks to most new friends added.

The purpose of the Golf 24/7 concept is to give everyone a chance to win – no matter the golfing skills. You could post a great front 9 and scoop a prize, or go on a birdie blitz and win. We want to simply make golf more exciting and fun with our app.

What to do if your course is missing?

We are currently working on updating our database and GameBook has most of the world’s golf courses covered. In case some specific course is missing, you as a GameBook user have the option to create it yourself – with the app or on our online service.

The other option is to let us know which course is missing and we’ll add it for you. You can send us feedback from the app (under “profile” tab), tweet the information, write to our Facebook wall or contact us by email at support(a)golfgamebook.com.

So, good luck to you all and remember: The more you play, the better your chance of winning!
